The electricity gets sent to a motor, which turns the wheels. By not burning fossil fuels, electric cars are much better for the environment. You may think the car will explode because of the battery, but they are much safer than normal cars. In fact, one electric car broke the safety test because it was so safe. Another worry about electric cars is the price. The tesla model 3, which can go 345 kilometers, is priced at $45,000, but the government will give you $3,000. You also save about $1,500 every year because of fuel prices, so if you kept the car for 8 years, the real price would be $30,000, about the price of a large family car. In Norway, over 20% of cars are electric, and other countries should follow. Electric cars have evolved enough and are ready for the public. Save the planet; buy an electric car.
