This is a movie based around the World War One German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, who was a fighter ace. The movie starts off with Manfred von Richthofen in a dogfight with British Fighter planes, and shoots a plane down. Later, the hospital staff, including Käte Otersdorf, a nurse and the Baron’s romantic interest find the person they shot down in a crashed plane, who is a Canadian called Roy Brown. The red baron then has a couple more dogfights, and gets promoted while his friends all die around him. He also gets injured by The Canadian. It ends on a sad note as he is killed by getting shot down in France.
