The apprentice nodded before the two trudged onward soon they found weirdly shaped stones Scorchwing noticed a weird red creature walking on the shore he got into a crouching position and launched onto it and bit into it killing it he then buried it before nodding to Brightpaw signaling that it was ok to hunt Brightpaw looked around and saw a small bird with long legs Brightpaw tried to imitate Scorchwing's hunting crouch and pounced however the bird flew away before she could catch it however it did not fly very far away and Brightpaw ran after it and leaping to catch the bird it almost flew away before Brightpaw caught it by the wing and pinned it down before biting its neck quickly killing it she picked it up and carried it to Scorchwing and put it down and mewed excitably "Look what I caught." her tail flicked in excitement Scorchwing nodded in agreement of the good moment seemed like this bird didn't like to fly much.
