Learning French is a choice I would never regret in my life. It had been an enjoyable 4 years under the guidance of our wonderful French teacher, Jean-Marc. French is beautiful not only in the language itself, but also in the rich culture behind it. In Jean-Marc’s lessons, he is not restricted by the textbook, and would teach you many vocabulary or even interesting facts about the French language. While we are all serious about learning the language well, Jean-Marc never fails to make sure that lessons are educational yet enjoyable at the same time. French lessons become not a chore, but something that we look forward to every week, as we explore the wonders of a new language. It might be stressful at times, when we face difficulties in picking up foreign vocabulary, but it is definitely worth the effort to overcome them as you gain much more in return. I grew to love the French language more day by day, and the French programme has definitely inspired me to want to be able to speak fluent French one day.
