It was just an average exploration day, when the ultimate sleepover occurred. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring abandoned buildings, such as Walmart and Kmarts, that didn’t make it. I was at an abandoned store. I wasn't sure what the store was. It had been closed for a long time. I always made sure to be extra careful when exploring these abandoned stores. It was 5:29 pm on a warm day. As I was inside the abandoned store, I realized that the store was creepy. My decision to enter the old abandoned store was soon regretted because I knew now that there was no turning back. I tried to call for help, but there was no signal there. The store was located off of a paved road which was in Northeast Indiana. My heart was racing quickly and I even thought that I might pass out. Judging by the entrance, I think it was a Walmart at one point. But there was Kmart’s restaurant entrance too. The store was located within Uniondale Square Mall, which is the closest mall to my hometown, which is Markle, Indiana. I could see where the shelves had been taken out when the store closed. The floors were old and dirty. The roof was leaking, so the floor was wet. It was cold in there. Thankfully, I had eaten 2 hours before I came to the store. I realized I'd have to order food eventually. I carried 2 Nike backpacks, and I had a pencil, a notebook, some cardboard.I had my IPad and it’s charger. I noticed a powerbox that was locked in the back of the store. I found a key and put it in the lock. The powerbox was open, so I turned on the lights. I realized that there was another YouTuber inside. I could tell by his bald head that it was Nate, at the back wall under a scar that used to read “Layaway”. This was where the customer service used to be. Now that the lights were on, everything was becoming obvious. This was definitely a Wal-Mart at one time. It was also a Kmart for a little while. I could tell by some of the label scars. This store has been abandoned for a very long time due to the condition. We talked about the other stores that were abandoned in the area and we discussed that we've never explored the same store. Suddenly, I saw Sage Perkins. Sage Perkins was another explorer that just followed his own beliefs and ran away from home. Then, Sam and Colby came inside and saw us filming the whole store. They asked if we had turned on all of the lights. We talked for another hour about how we love their content and the ghosts that were inside all of those stores. Then, we heard punching noises. We decided to check it out.
