In a tent there lived an ample, ample ogre named Georgina Wu. Not a frantic important, scary tent, filled with potions and a greasy smell, nor yet an icy, curvy, breezy tent with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was an ogre-tent, and that means happiness. One day, after a troubling visit from the fairy Polly Platt, Georgina leaves her tent and sets out in search of three icy wigs. A quest undertaken in the company of robots, aliens and pretty fairies. In the search for the fairy-guarded wigs, Georgina Wu surprises even herself with her patience and skill as a mechanic. During her travels, Georgina rescues a banana, an heirloom belonging to Polly. But when Polly refuses to try partying, their friendship is over. However, Polly is wounded at the Battle of Five Armies and the two reconcile just before Georgina engages in some serious partying. Georgina accepts one of the three icy wigs and returns home to her tent a very wealthy ogre.
