I have seen over a dozen specialist, have had a number of CT scans, have had two MRIs, have been put on a multitude of medication to the point where taking ten pills a day has become my life, have taken so much ibuprofen that I’ve developed ulcers which made me throw up for five months, have been considered bone marrow transplant and given other treatments to boost my immune system, have had two allergy tests, have even had a sinus surgery to shave down bone to create a more suitable breathing area and to eliminate mucus build up, and have missed well over one hundred days of school in my high school career. I have no answers. My next appointment is with another neurologist in October. My medical problems and bills are my biggest concern. I worry about not being able to attend school despite it being the thing I want to do above all else.
