I agree with the statement because the interest group are more focused on the money side of the issue rather than the people that are in actual need of help in getting into a institution.  They would rather keep the high prices of loans in helping a student get through and jeopardizing quite a placing many people in debt even after they are long gone out of the institution. An easy solution to fixing this problem was to make college more affordable but then where would institutions and companies make their money. Institutions and companies seen that the government was looking to make a change in making college more affordable but then they decided to bring out how millions of jobs will be lost because of lack of pay in the institution.  Teachers and employees would then go on strike because of the lack of money that would be incapable of being distributed out. It is almost unfair to an individual because what they are up against  is not another student but they are facing organizations with millions of dollars.  This is unfair but can one individual a one small group be able to change how the political system is.  There is also so many rules to how pell grants and loans are used amongst students. Those that are caught up young with substances and apart of illegal matters are now stripped with not being able to ever have loans.  The way the system is made it is designed mostly for the rich to be ok because most rules do not apply to them such as loans. For example a rich student gets caught with illegal substances it does not matter because he can easily pay his way through college regardless of a loan or not.
