Have the “Stairs” 3d data modified in such a way that it contains “3D Layout”. Create the View of Stairs separately from the main Structural View. Superposition (or combine using ASD View Copy) the two views. When 3D Layout is used then 3D Clipping can be used. Based on 3D Clipping size the result would change accordingly.
