Many RPA tools have a SQL back end and if you know SQL really well you can do some great and useful analytics with the data contained in the database. RPA generally needs to be fed information from some source, someone familiar with SQL could be valuable in creating the query needed to extract data for processing. RPA tools can be easily learned/trained (in most cases). If you are interested in both topics I would start as a RPA developer while learning SQL on the side, this will give you the option to focus more to one side or the other as you learn more and discover your passion.
