Both of these sorces discribe the cruelty and unpleasantness of the middle passage. For example in source B you can see slaves packed extreamly tightly together shoulder to shoulder, while sorce A says a quite similar thing of 'they are frequently stowed so close.' another similarity between these 2 sorces is that both talk about or show the food buckets for the slaves. In sorce B you can see a man suturing a bucket of what looks similar to porragie, while in sorce A it agrees with sorce B with it saying 'their food is served up to them in tubs, about the size of a small water bucket.' this perfectly matches the picture of the food bucket in sorce B. A detail that is diffrent in both of the sorces is that sorce A describes the floor as 'so covered with blood and mucus .' while in sorce B the floor is compleatly clean. This maybe because this floor is on a higher level meaning it has a drainage system to the bottem level, or it may be near the start of the voyage, but this seems like to big a diffrence to ignore. A second diffrence between the 2 sorces is that sorce A states that all of the slaves 'only lie on their sides.' while in sorce B you can quite clearly see that the slaves are huddled upright with anofe room to stand up. The big message of A seems to be that life for a slave in the middle passage was extreamly disgusting and harsh. While sorce B's big message is not as harsh as sorce B. For example the slaves quarters seem a lot more habitable compared to the disgusting living quarters described in sorce A. In conclusion I see that the genrel idea of both of the sorces is quite similar but they have drastically diffrent details. As I said earlyer sorce A seems to be a lot more harsh compared to the relative comfort of sorce B.
