In terms of thematics his works often revolve around technology, both archaic, present day and the futuristic, and the comparisons between all three. The comparison between what was once believed to be magic and what we today perceive as commonplace. His films often focus on exploring abstract fields on a microscopic level, blurring the lines between what is at once real and what is not. With installation work, he seeks to engage the viewer’s cognition and perception, and how the recipient relates to scale, in relation to ones own body and the presented materials.
